2LB White Poplar Wood Shavings Bedding for Chicken Chicks & Small
This listing covers a 2 lb bag of white poplar wood shavings intended as bedding for chicken chicks and small pets. Poplar is a light, soft hardwood, and the shavings are pale in color, which makes it easy to spot droppings and refresh soiled areas during routine coop or cage cleaning.
The shavings work as loose bedding across several settings. In a brooder, they give chicks a dry surface to stand and scratch on. In a coop or nest box, they add a cushioning layer under hens. For small pets such as rabbits or guinea pigs, the same material can line a cage tray or hide.
Because the bag holds 2 lb, it suits smaller setups or short-term use before a full bedding change. Store it dry and sealed between uses to keep the shavings loose and free of moisture. Add a layer of the desired depth, then remove and replace soiled sections as needed.
